Although I am unable to attend the information meeting due to travel, I want to extend my support for this projects as a property owner in the local community. This is not a mall, or an industrial site or any other heavy-impact development. In fact, the redevelopment of Williams Lake holds the potential to infuse Rosendale-High Falls-Stone Ridge and surrounding areas with added tourism dollars and tax revenues that will only strengthen the community. Downtown Rosendale in particular would greatly benefit from having additional visitors to the community, hopefully stimulating new businesses in the the 'spotty' downtown retail landscape. Further, this provides opportunities of local residents to open new ventures, seek employment and a project like this would hopefully attract other tourism and wellness related development. My household is all in favor of it! Hopefully others will get on board, too.
