You've stated that the main hotel will be LEED certified. What about the other buildings on the site, especially the housing? It would seem consistent with your vision to commit that these structures will be LEED certified as well.

Thanks for the comment. We are committed to applying LEED and sustainability principles to all of our resort, including the housing.

This will include thoughtful siting, erosion control, water conservation, use of local materials, energy efficiency, etc. That said, we are uncertain at present whether the LEED certification, which is time consuming and expensive, will make economic sense for the housing.

Again, whether LEED certified or not, the entire project will be built to high standards of environmental responsibility.
